Late last week, about one month after its birth in the blogosphere, the FSPB reached 10,000 hits. That’s quite a nice accomplishment for a student-focused blog! (Well, for any blog for that matter.) In light of that event, I’d like to congratulate the students whose contributions drive the interest in the FSPB and to thank our readers, especially those whose comments help generate profitable discussions.
We’re off to a very good start. The trick now is to sustain the momentum and to continue to develop high-quality, student-focused philosophical discussions. One of the chief ways of doing this will be to expand our list of contributors so that it includes members of unrepresented and underrepresented departments in Florida — e.g., FSU, Miami, and so forth. (If you’re interested in becoming a contributor, please get in touch with me and let me know.) Another important way is for people to spread the word about the FSPB so that we can get even more high-quality comments, like many of the ones we’ve alread had.
Congratulations and thanks, again!
